Who We Are

Our firm’s practice revolves around the needs of a client base that consists of industries, businesses, landowners and local governments with relationships to the timber, agriculture, water, mining and other natural resource sectors located throughout Oregon. Examples of clients include timber companies, wood product manufacturers, farms, livestock producers, construction companies, private ranches, regional and national trade associations and local governments. Our firm’s practice areas extend to Land and Real Estate Law, Water Law, Threatened and Endangered Species, Federal and State Environmental Law, Public Land Law, General Civil Litigation, and Business Law. We practice in Oregon State and Federal Courts, as well as State and Federal administrative forums including the U.S Department of Interior Board of Land Appeals (IBLA).

Our managing partner, Ron Yockim, started his natural resources practice in Roseburg in 1991, working on some of the toughest and most complex natural resources issues facing rural communities in Oregon over the last three decades. After practicing solo for many years, in 2011, Ron hired Dominic Carollo, who came to Southern Oregon with experience practicing at a large full service law firm in Portland, Oregon. In 2014, Ron and Dominic formed Yockim Carollo, LLP and, in 2015, hired additional staff including an associate attorney to keep up with the firm’s growth.
